Luciano Guilherme da Rocha, was born in Itajaí-SC-BRAZIL, is a great music enthusiast. He started playing the acustic guitar when he was 11, but at 13 years old heard the guitar solo of The Final Countdown, Europe (guitarist Jonh Norum), he was amazed, and from then on he decided that the guitar would be his instrument: everything to make the solos of the whole LP that carried the same name of the song. Luciano also sang many years in several corals, being great admirer of the polyphony. Today he is also composer in his spare time, a hobe that appreciates a lot. For Luciano, it was a dream that was realized, to be able to compose, to record and to arrange songs that left the bottom of the soul, something that was contained by about 40 years, and that now, they were exteriorized and they came to surface. These songs for him, were a gift from God given to the band Spero Amicis.
Paulo Pinheiro was born in Cabo Frio (state of Rio de Janeiro) and lives in the state of Santa Catarina since eleven years old.
He started to learn his first musical instrument (acoustic guitar) at twelve and since his fourteen he was into attending to musical contests. Later he would join several bands, playing at local bars.
Paulo changed instruments a couple of times according to the need of the bands he attended, ending up focusing more on bass guitar. His experiences with that instrument, besides acoustic and electric guitar, and keyboards gave him a generalist sense that came to be useful to create musical arrangements.

Those affective musical memories are present in Spero Amicis work one way or another, as well as the several unforgettable “one hit wonders” recordings he loves, and they all helped to format the music and prose that live inside the artist Paulo Pinheiro.
Band´s History
Luciano and Paulo met in the year 1991 in the Faculty of Computer Sciences and soon after two days they formed a band to play in the bars of Itajaí. After finishing the computer faculty, Luciano moved to Florianópolis to study dentistry and the band disbanded. Paul continued playing in the bars of Itajaí, and he does so even today. Luciano had been composing intensively for five years, and then, in 2017, he invited his childhood friends Manta, Telmo, Airton and Digo and also Paulo to compose and train Spero Amicis. However, because of the affairs of life, they have not yet been able to gather as they should. Luciano and Paulo, then, took on the task of continuing the Spero Amicis project. Luciano has always reported, since the days of the 90s, that there was always a very great musical synergy with Paulo, which can be seen in this first work by Spero Amicis. Much inspiration and dedication have been put into this work, resulting from a lifetime of dedication to music and much learning throughout all this time. In general, the method of composing is as follows: Luciano makes the melody and Paul the lyrics. Many songs came out at once, being pure inspiration. It is a blessing of God to bring so many songs to this world. The families are thankful for their patience and understanding, since all the work consumed long and long hours, which were sacrificed from the leisure of the wife and children of Luciano (Vivi, Gabriel and Alexandre) and Paulo (Andréia and daughter Marina).
